About Us

Hi I'm Amie, WS Outdoors' founder. I was always an outdoors baby thanks to my parents. I was in a canoe at 14 months old, biking by age 3 on my balance bike, and skiing by age 5. That's where my love and passion for the outdoors and adventurous activities grew from. 

I passed my Paddlesport Instructor at age 14 which is where my career in the outdoors started. I completed an apprenticeship with my local activity centre, then moved on to working at different centres in many different roles, and now here I am a few years later starting my own big adventure.

Hi I'm Chris, my first watersports experience was a family trip canoeing down the Ardeche River in France, and ever since this I've been hooked on the sport. I would say that I favour the High ropes side of the industry at the moment, and I am currently working towards becoming an ERCA High Ropes trainer. 

I've worked in outdoor centres most of my life, starting in junior positions and with hard work, making my way up to leading a team; but I've decided it was time to take a break from that, and go back to my main interest - helping others develop their skills and progress their career in the outdoors.
